The idea was conceived by a livestock farmer who shared his knowledge concerning an unknown system of milk production, which defied the traditional method of the region, and consisted in keeping the livestock within the stables.
The starting point for this innovative project consisted in 250 milking cows that were kept in their stables and fed with a grass called “maralfalfa”, in a 24-block area of land. This great combination increased significantly the milk production of the livestock, resulted in an optimal harnessing of the land, and it was greatly accepted within the livestock association of the region and other zones of the country.
The project became the biggest attraction of the region due to the high demand that the model caused in the milking industry, and the great production rates that were obtained. In addition to the success of the milking project a tourism space has also been included, which has generated a new income not only for the project, but also for the region.
Now in the second phase the image of La Manuela incorporates Via Lactea them park as the brand name for is products, and la manuela becomes the name of the main character of the storyboard. What started as a project has become a great and marvelous reality.

Based on a system of livestock stabling, it also integrates to its facilities a very important tourism segment to offer a wide range of knowledge, education and new experiences to which the people feel attracted to and therefore they visit us.
